Run for your lives

Ok - is it just me or are we still a little freaked out by Andrew circa 1992?

The weather channel and all the local stations are a constant mantra - please evacuate. So, people are. Then there are photos of long lines of cars on US1 tring to get to the mainland. Or shall I say - long lines of cars on the 7 mile bridge.

I would much rather be in a house located in the Keys (most of them dated pre Andrew) than on a bridge when a hurricane comes a calling. Is it just me?

Give me four concrete walls and land beneath my feet. Somehow - I think I will be ok.

Give me a concrete platform with nothing but ocean below me with miles between me and the land.

What are you- freakin' crazy????
