Sitting around this morning I decided to wake up with MTV. I want to to tell you about a few things I noticed this morning while sober. The reason that sobriety is very important was that found three back to back videos curious.

1 - System of a Down - BYOB. This is a strange song. Forgive me brother man if I don't get the total complexities of this song down. It was a mixture of speed metal, wrapped up with a little Linken Park - with some rump shaking. The video struck me as strange because you have this band screaming about 'setting the bar' while tattooed lovelies do their best booty rump shaking in front of them. Strange mix that kept me entertained and glued to the set - waiting for what other type of musical genre they were going to add in. Someone was doing heavy amounts of drugs writing and directing this stuff.


2 - The Killers. I want to mention this band because I like the music. Reminds me of my youth. I miss the 80's and that's no secret. Thing that caught me as weird.

Eric Roberts. He was the pimp in the video. Throwing the apple to the bandleaders crush.

3 - Eric Roberts - part II. Eric Roberts. Julia Roberts brother. You know...Pope of Greenwich. He was in a few more - I think Runaway Train. I think he also recently did a sitcom with Brooke Shields. Well - Eric is now the new video whore.

He - like P Diddy. Is in quite a few videos.

Following The Killers - He played the fiance of Mariah Carey - he once again (as in the The Killers) video loses the girl to another man.

I don't get it. What's with Eric and the videos?
